I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

Late AM: 25 miles on the spin bike and 1 mile on the rower.

We have a young teacher in my department (my daughter age) who came to talk with me about teaching AP U.S. History "if you ever retire" (her words). I told her it would probably be about 4 more years at least. She asked if she could come in and watch my class some which made me feel good. If I get the number of classes up to 5 sections, I might give her one in a year or two so I can work with her.

Nice to see the interest from the young teacher, to help mentor and create a succession plan for the students.
