I had some success in high school and college. Winner 1985 Rod Dixon Run 

Had a fair amount of success as a Masters runner for most of my 40s. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Have fun with running, explore more trails, stay healthy.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and racing consistently for as long as I can. Find what is sustainable for me over the long run.

Personal:

I teach AP European History and other courses at Alta High School. I coached the track and cross country teams at Alta for 16 years.

AM: 4 miles up and down (and some exploring on the backside) of "Mount L" in Lava Springs, Idaho. Took about 1:10 to accomplish 4 miles.

PM: Drove Andy to baseball practice and was intending to run a few laps around Liberty Park while he practiced but I locked my key in the car. So, instead I ran home to get another key and ran back - 6.5 miles total on actual roads.

Have you ever listened to Hardcore History, esp. the WW1 series? Curious for the thoughts of a history teacher.

I have listened to Hardcore History just to check it out because people rave on it so much.I recommend them to my students. I don't spend much time listening to them though because I don't learn anything. He doesn't tell me anything I don't already know. I'm not trying to sound like a snob - it's just what I've done for a living for 21 years. Kind of like you listening to an Engineering 101 podcast designed to make engineering seem interesting to the layman.
