That's a good time for Andy. If he keeps training w/ donuts, he'll transition naturally to the beer mile when he gets older.

I bet he could have done 1:42 in spikes instead of crocs, maybe sub 1:40 in shorts.

Approximate average pace?

You were DQed once your cumulative average pace dropped below 10 minutes/mile. I struck out on lap 15 and fell asleep besides the course.

We called this the Rod Dixon Run. I can't believe I've never told you about it.

I remember now... You DID tell me about this! Dixon was a beast... and so were you guys!

Speaking of Dixon...

There..we can be more cryptic now.

Good work. No one will ever know what was said in between, except whoever is monitoring this thread from the NSA in Bluffdale.

Dixon was the real life Quenton Cassidy. A stud from the mile to the marathon. Better marathon career than Cassidy though unless Parker writes another book.

He's banned from writing for two decades after the ghost of Nubbins nonsense.

He didn't get racing the marathon right in Again to Carthage. No doubt because he only ran one himself. Still, there was a lot I liked about the book.
