11.25 miles in 1:25. I'm working on running at faster than 8 minute pace on some of my runs. Crazy, I know.

I wore shorts.

Great news! I signed a contract today with my new sponsor, The Blue Plate Diner, in Salt Lake. They will give me a half price omelette and cup of coffee every time I complete a race if I bring ten other runners in with me. I'm excited to have my achievements recognized in this way.

I really, really can't wait to see the uniform.

Do you have to take hard boiled eggs instead of gels during marathons now?

The singlet will involve bacon and eggs and johnny Cash.

get "CASH" printed on the back of your singlet, like an NBA jersey

Are you sure this is not just a coupon?

From Rob Murphy on Tue, Jan 14, 2014 at 13:01:39 from 163.248.33.220

It's a SPONSORSHIP Andrea. All elite runners have them.

From Andrea on Tue, Jan 14, 2014 at 13:19:08 from 70.208.26.170

Hmm...I'm not convinced. Seems like they are just using you for ridiculously cheap advertising.

From Rob Murphy on Tue, Jan 14, 2014 at 14:45:21 from 163.248.33.220

Cheap???? Those omelets can cost $9.00. That's a $4.50 value.

Please put me down for the salmon Blue Plates Benedict sans tomato add avocado and I will be there in the morning.

Do they need a dessert sponsor? I could use half off on that.
