What would you say to someone considering coaching middle school cross country team? Would you try to talk them out of it, or encourage them? Any words of wisdom/wit?

Jon,
unsolicited advice...
MS XC is awesome. Great opportunity to introduce kids to the sport and help them grow a love for it. Keep it fun and simple. Don't even stress at all on running fast (those that want to will rise to the top), just help them really have fun with it.

Ha! I was like, why did Rob sign his name as Dave? I'm slow.

As a (sadly) unemployed cross country coach, I would gladly take any job that was offered.

Move to St. George... I've got a job for you Rob!
Happy BDay this week, by the way.

Thanks Dave! I would probably take you up on it if I were the only consideration.
