I have done that....it is not fun.

Cannot be your first...it's the prep that is the unpleasant part. I had one a month or so ago. When I told the nurses that I had run early that morning before the procedure - they said - "after taking all the prep meds you went out for a run before the procedure?!!" I told them I stayed close to home (or the woods) in case of an emergency. :)

I would have thought you'd have about 30 years to go on that Eva?

Good story Bret and not surprising. I always enjoy their reaction to my 39 heart rate. Clean bill of health today - might do one more at 70(ONLY 11 YEARS!) and then call it quits on the colonoscopies!

I had appendicitis and before removing my appendix the doctor wanted to do a colonoscopy to make sure nothing strange was going on inside the intestine. I hope it is several more years before doing another one.

Rob, what age did you do your first? I'm getting some pressure to get it in my 40's but see other info that it's not needed till 50's plus.
