Well, I haven't been running much lately and I haven't been bothered much by it either. I've been focusing on my job a bit lately and my coaching. The milesplit.com national site is doing a story on Kramer as is the Salt Lake Tribune. The Trib was out at practice today taking pictures of Jake and Kramer running mile repeats.I'm really enjoying my whole team this year. Just a bunch of good kids.

It's just a busy time. Abby and Andy are both going to their various sports and activities all the time. Ann's mom recently was diagnosed with cancer everywhere so she's been traveling to Minnesota to be with her.

I love running in the morning but my job just makes that hard with having to be at my desk at 7 AM most days. Tomorrow I've decided to show up late and get in a morning run.

The rest has been good for me. I'm feeling good, ache free, and ready to go.

My day was also brightened when I read that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are putting the finishing touches on a new album. I've been a fan since they released their first album when I was about eight. I still buy CD's and a new Petty album is one I always pick up on the day it's released.

It's a good time to back off a bit, before all the Zombie dashes, Haunted half-marathons, and costumed Franken-runs start up in October.

I'll pass on those thank-you-very-much.

I am thinking about the Just Cuz Half up in Pocatello in November though. Might point to the 3M Half in Austin in January too to give me a winter goal if I can find a cheap flight.

Balancing priorities in life is important.

If you come up for Just Cuz, you are welcome to stay with us and I will run it with you!

I think its good to have something on the schedule other than just the SLC Winter Series... keeps the motivation a tad higher when the weather starts to spiral down. I'm planning on Houston in January, since they're hosting the USA 1/2 Champs the next 2 years. Frontier now flies their pretty cheap (under 250)

I didn't know Jake was eligible to join your track team.

My favorite race ever is still the Just Cuz. Not because you let me win but because I had such a good time running with you and Jeff. I remember when we first saw you at the hotel pool the night before my wife looked at me and said "that guy looks fast"

I didn't run XC my freshman year of high school (I was on the GOLF team!) so I still have a season of eligibility left :-)

Absolutely Rob. Jake has been a real boost to our team.

Nice update :) I have been wondering how Ann's Mom has been doing. Let me know if you guys need any dog watching or Abby/Andy entertainment with Ann traveling!

Amiee is volunteering Frank to come over and watch the kids.

Yeah and she will bring over all of her Traveling Wilburys LPs!
