5.25 on the treadmill early in the AM.

Pipe ruptured under my house yesterday so no water for the last 24 hours. That's the kind of week its been. Lucky to get in any miles this week with the first week of school.

Maybe a couple more miles this afternoon at Sugarhouse Park for the XC meet this afternoon.

Stat of the day...

Good luck on the first meet!

Hope it goes well this afternoon. Will be looking forward to hearing about it.

Bummer on the pipe.

Thanks guys. I'll let you know how it goes. Kramer's at a little disadvantage as it's a school day for him but not for Conner and his other main rivals. Still summer for them.

Does anyone buy books anymore?

I think I bought a few. And I know we checked out over a hundred from the library. Does that count?

From Jason D on Thu, Aug 22, 2013 at 19:36:13 from 24.1.80.94

My house is overflowing with them (I think I'm over a thousand). Unfortunately, I don't read enough complete books (especially for an academic), mostly chapters. Graduate school will do that to you. I guess I read/edit articles daily and read your posts, Rob.

But, yes, truly frightening.

What are these things you call "books"? Seriously, we'll be spending plenty of $$ in college textbooks later so we're all about the library.

I think a textbook counts Bob.

Most runners I know read quite a bit. We're smarter than the average bear.
