10.25 miles on the Porter Rockwell Trail. Legs still not 100%. Probably not 70%.

Abby and I had breakfast with Adam Goucher this morning at the Best Western down in Sandy.

So after dropping my mom off at the airport early this morning, Abby and I went down to Sandy for practice only we were about 40 minutes early. Abby asked what we were going to do while we waited. I told her we were going to go to the Best Western Cotton Tree Inn and have breakfast. She refused claiming that "that would be stealing". I said "fine, you can sit in the car", which she did. Actually I was just planning on getting a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper and while I was in there I bumped into Adam Goucher eating breakfast. He's here with Tim Catalano (with whom he wrote Running the Edge) promoting a new venture at the OR show. So I invited myself to sit with them and had a great conversation. Abby came in a few minutes later and I got a good picture of her with Adam.

Mostly about this new website he and Tim are rolling out in November to help people run 2016 miles in 2016. They showed it to me on Tim's mac at breakfast. Looks pretty cool.

Also, they complained about having to take cabs from Sandy to downtown Salt Lake for the Outdoor Retaillers show. I'm scheming now to pick them up this evening and go out to dinner.

You should have told them about Uber and gotten a referral bonus!

Very cool Rob. You seem to have no reluctance to engage with the "glitterati" of the sport. Good for you. Please don't hesitate to inquire about AlSal and Galen and the whole NOP scandal when you pick him up for dinner. :)
