Major sweat-fest on the stair master for 330 floors which the machine said was worth seven miles. So I'll go with that.

So I listened to President Obama talk about extending the Bush tax cuts for the virtuous middle class and tightening the screws on those making over $250k. It completely unreasonable how much this country asks of its' citizens - especially compared to previous generations.

In case you all are wondering, I make less than $250k so I'm in the favored group who doesn't need to do any more to help our country.

Truthfully Rob, and I'm not being sarcastic since I'm now married to one. I think school teachers are the only true American Hero's. The whole problem with American society is everyone expects to make way to much money for doing nothing. Everyone complains about outsourcing and immigrants but if you asked them to actually do those jobs they would complain that they don't make enough. Teachers do it simply because they believe in what they are doing.

You went and made my post look stupid!

From Rob Murphy on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 13:45:39 from 24.10.249.165

OK, I'll put it back up...

I now see your master plan. Mention the fact that Jake should say something interesting about President Obama and then post something interesting on your own blog. :-)

Nice move to increase readership!

7 miles on a step master is insane! Not too shabby.

Wasatch Running Center is still paying you less than $250K despite your recent 10K dominance? What a joke - time to switch alliance and move over to Deer Valley and train with Alberto's group.

From Rob on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 14:27:20 from 206.71.84.68

OK! Teachers and Running store employees.

My job on the other hand pays me well over $250K just to sit here and post annoying comments on other peoples blogs.

You're on to me Scott. I didn't know it was that transparent.

Rob - what was it we all did with our time before the internet?

People Jake's age will comment "before the internet?"

From Rob on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 14:55:01 from 206.71.84.68

Well, since my real job is to enable people with the internet I'm not really sure.

I may have read one of those paper book thingys, I remember carrying them around in a backpack quite a bit.

they make books that aren't on ipads?

From Rob on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 15:48:21 from 206.71.84.68

Yes Jake, and back packs were much larger with no bladder for water, and no built in iPhone pocket.

I remember what I did now. I spent a rediculous amount of time at the White Owl in Logan playing pool.

And shoe companies put big cushion pads in their shoes and tried to injure everyone. I think I read about the "old days" in a "book" once.

From Rob on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 15:53:16 from 206.71.84.68

That's funny, cause that was the very first book I bought on my iPad :)

Hey Rob, your blog just past Jakes for number of posts.

From scottkeate on Mon, Jul 09, 2012 at 16:00:18 from 216.49.181.254

Jake 12 - Rob 14 posts for the day. Not only does he win best post, he wins best marketing strategy.

I like the athletic/political twist to Rob's blogging strategy--give your readers something unpredictable and they keep coming back :-)
