Stay fit and healthy. Run a decent Boston and St. George marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep fit and stay semi-competitive as long as I can.
Personal:
I have a wonderful wife and son and we live in Riverton/Herriman Utah. I am a high school teacher, and head coach for cross country and track at Mountain Ridge High.
I did the HPER, Hillcrest,Cemetary loop with 6x100 meter strides this morning before school. I felt tight at first but the strides loosened me up quite a bit. I hope I feel okay tomorrow in the Striders 5k.
About time you joined up with the blog, you slacker!

James - this has actually been a better week. Try to run the same minimum number of miles six days a week. I think for you right now a good number will be about 6. Then on a good/long/hard day, run more. Otherwise, stop at 6 and call it a day. But do not skip days, or cut them to 4 miles. If you keep it up, I think 2:30 in St. George will be no problem at all this year, you might even be knocking on the doors of the Trials qualifier.
Now we have Dan,Cody,Paul,Clyde, you, and myself on the blog - that is 50% of the team. Can we convert the remainder to the "true religion"?
