AM- I went out on an easy run this morning.  I went in to River Heights and Providence and did an easy loop.  I didn't feel too good today, pretty slow, sluggish, and not much energy.  It was probably the events of the weekend all combined.  I always have some runs like that once in a while, and they dampen my spirits a bit, but I know that I usually feel better the next time out.    8.2 miles  1:02:15

(Hurricane-320 miles)

PM- Drove my wife and son upto the river trail and they went to the nature center while I ran.  I ran up the trail just past single track and back.  It was hot when I started but by the time I finished things were starting to cool off.  I felt way better tonight on my run.  I ran good, and even ran back in 6:30 average pace, including the single track section.  I finally got some good trail shoes the other day (Montrail Hardrocks) and I loved them.  I highly recommend them, at least for the first 6 miles of wear.  6 miles in 41:31    I ran back upto the nature center after to meet my wife and son.

(Hardrock- 6 miles)

You had a high mileage week after WBR, and then yesterday was a fast Sunday. If you do not properly carboload/hydrate/electrolyte load before and after, you'll feel the effects in the Monday run.

I meant to say you hit the nail on the head!

I did get your email- sorry you will miss the run. Too bad Paul won't be there to take a bunch of photos of it. We will for sure do it again- I used to run it a few times a month.

You can borrow my camera if you want.

From Jon on Mon, Jul 02, 2007 at 15:01:17

No, that's ok, I have my own. But you would have to take the pictures so I could catch up.

From Cody on Mon, Jul 02, 2007 at 15:05:26

He can take them practically running. by the end of the run sat I was not getting any rest waiting for him to take the pictures.

James, I can't run this evening at all. Sorry. BTW Dan is MIA. (not at work today, no email at home)

Sasha !!! You said you would fix the refresh/repost problem. Grrrr

From Jon on Mon, Jul 02, 2007 at 15:11:13

That's what I figured, but anything to let us catch him is good.

Maybe you should get a CPA to do CPR on his EKG so he won't be DOA. Or have his HT do a PPI with the EQP during BYC. I can contact the LPD to get an APB on his XYZ with 0% ROI.

I understood about half of that!

From Jon on Mon, Jul 02, 2007 at 15:53:06

About the same amount as I understood!

Hey, what time did you start on the nature trail? I ended up having to be home at 6:45, so I just did the river trail, too. I didn't finish on it till 6:30 but never saw you. I even had some pebbles in my hand that I was going to lob at you.
