Running Accomplishments:

I have run 12 marathons, 5 since major surgery in 2005. My fastest was Leipzig in 1992. 3 hours 11 minutes 48 seconds. The Mesa-Phx Marathon on February 25, 2017 was the fastest since my surgery at 4:26:59.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to improve on my last Marathon time. After the Phoenix Marathon that I ran February 25, 2017 I want to focus on shorter races and do a sprint tri. I did improve about 45 minutes faster on the Mesa-Phx Marathon over the last Petrified Forest Marathon and about 27 minutes faster than the last time I ran the Mesa-Phx Marathon.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue to run and work on my speed. Do shorter races and a sprint tri in the next year.

Personal:

I have been an educator for 32 years. My wife, Margaret, and I have 6 children and at the present time 6 grandchildren. Running helps to keep me level. I love it and hope to continue to run for many years to come.

41:39 with overall pace of 10:11 and a fastest mile at 9:44. Started slow trying to figure out my Garmin. This will take me a few days to figure out. Core after the run.

History deleted. I need to figure out how to put in Garmin app online. Was a fast run but I can't. Say how fast. If my memory serves me correctly, every mile was between 9:05 and 9:30. The garmin says on my circle K run that I hit each mile about 100 yards before my phone was saying I was there.

Started just before 8. Was going to do 8. Changed to 7 and then 5.

51:32. 10:11 pace overall. Max HR 150. Ave 134. Ran 9:34, 9:20, then was going up slightly but up and heat got to me so was 10:08, 10:42, and 11:06. Walked and ran slowly @ 2 to get home. Was 82 degrees out when i got home.

I think my crazy schedule is getting to me.
