PM: 9.5 miles solo at 7:30 pace. Finally feeling like my old self, just without the endurance and speed. So I guess not like my old self. At least running is fun again, and that's all that matters.

Hey guys, thanks for the support! I had an anterior tibialis muscle tear (on the front, lower leg) and a partial tear of the accompanying tendon. The injury kind of felt like shin splints, but if I tried to stand on the one leg I'd basically just fall down.
10/10 would recommend. :)
But I've started running again, and I've got to tell you- running is hard...

And this was back at the end of July. I misunderstood my body and thought adding hills was the same as adding speed, not truly realizing how much they worked different parts of my muscles harder.

Hills - How do you train for them, without injury? Floridians want to know. I get what you're saying about hills do not equal sprints. It's a hard lesson to learn, though.
Standing on one foot is overrated. It's a marketing ploy from "Big Stork."
You'll be back to your old super-fast self in no time!
