Not quite as impressive as it looks. My feet are hurting - a lot, and I know I've got some tendinitis going on in my feet/ankles, and I had a million things to do today, and I didn't run at all on Tuesday because I had a paper due, so I decided to cut my long run a little shorter this morning and I just did 6.5. But then I didn't have the car and I had to get to campus for a lesson, and then home again. And then I did have the car but I had to take it in for a safety inspection, so I dropped it off and then walked home, and then back again to pick it up. And it turns out I live exactly one mile from campus and exactly one mile from the car place, and I, of course, was running late every time so I walked FAST, so I am counting those miles. I did soak my feet in the middle of the day, which helped, and then wore my Birkenstocks after that, which also helped. I think I just need to live in my Birks for the next few days and then I'll be okay. Maybe it's time for a second pair of quality shoes. I should probably start with some new ones for running; it's been two years :/
