| 3-ish miles with Eric. He showed me some of the dirt trails on the hill that I've never been on before. We encountered immense jack rabbits (I thought the first one was a small deer), a seriously long snake, and an unexpected stone wall (I hope his ankle is okay). It was a fun run!

| Another run with Eric this morning (spring break is fun). We went up the canyon and then climbed a small trail to a beautiful spot overlooking some spectacular scenery. I'm taking his word for it on the distane. It was an easy run for him and a great workout for me. Thanks, Eric!

I can't ever decide if I'm going to do a little strength every day or do more reps three times a week. Since I'm trying to form a new habit I'm going to try doing a little every day again, even though I haven't succeeded at being consistent yet.

| Snow!??? I know we need it, but I don't have to like it. At least it's mostly confined to lawns and roofs. It was a nice, not too windy, three miles with Adam this morning. And actually, it wasn't even very cold. I guess I should quit whining.

| Ran up to the park and ran around three times while the girls flew a kite. Perfect kite flying wind - a bit strong for running though. I ran home again when we were done.

| It was uphill both ways, and hot, and I made Adam walk about a quarter mile of uphill on the way back, but it was beautiful and I loved it. Time to start doing some more long runs. One more week of classes!

| Same run as last Saturday, but I ran all of it this time! Watching my boys tough it out in their track meets made me realize it's been a long time since I really pushed myself. I was pretty miserable up that last long hill, but I booked it the rest of the way home and it was pretty fun!
