| I meant to finish out this week with a four on Saturday so I would reach my 20 for the week, but I was incredibly tired and the schedule was a little nuts. I opted for sleep on Saturday and I don't regret it. Maybe I can pull off 20 something next week. I'm thinking of doing some longer ones in the next few weeks, just in case I feel like doing a half marathon in six weeks. I probably shouldn't, but I feel like I almost could.

| I have a terrible, horrible, miserable cold, and every muscle and joint in my body aches with a vengeance. I can't even sleep, I am so miserable. I will probably take tomorrow off.

| I am not well. But I am so much better, I feel like dancing. An easy two mile run with Beckie and Brenda left me seriously winded, but my body doesn't hurt any more. I think I'm going to live.

| I made Adam take it slowly. I've been determined to work in longer runs on occassion. It's been a while since I attempted more than five. This will have to count for this week. Maybe I can pull off an 8 or 9 next week. Or the week after :)

| We've settled into a pattern for Mon, Wed, Fri. Unfortunately, I have class those days so I won't be able to do more than 2.8. But if I can get a couple of longer runs in on Tues, Thurs, and Sat, I should be able to keep my mileage up. I was a little disappointed that my summer miles weren't quite as stellar as last year's, but I've been much more consistent this year and I'm already almost to my goal of 600 for the year. So I'm happy.
