I just started college and am a little lost without my xc and track from high school! But I'm beginning to breach the long-distance scene, which is fantastic!
speed at the oval. I didn't think we'd be done in time, but Bill was right and we were. We did 6 800s, mine were to be between 3:15 and 3:30 and I hit 3:16, 3:18, 3:17, 3:18, 3:18, 3:18. It was nice to be so consistent.
I also ran the 3200 and got a 13:13 (season PR, only 3 seconds off of my all-time PR). The two mile was my second race of the day, and I got fourth- it was a small race.
During the 1600 I got boxed in something awful- my start was terrible. So about two hundred meters in I slowed down a bit to get out of my box and then passed everyone to go from back to front- but it used up more energy than I would have liked.
