Intervals on the TM at the Aqt center. Preset program: Fast at 6.2 and 1% with Recovery at 5.2 and flat. Didn't feel overly strenuous during the run but my left foot is a little sore today (Thursday).
Also lifted weights: Bench, incline bench, curls, tricep push down and crunches.
I decided today that I don't want to be "a runner." I think it would be better for me to be a highly fit person who enjoys running for the cardio component of my fitness. It is finally starting to dawn on me that true fitness has 3 parts: Strength, cardio and nutrition. I have always felt best when all three are in place. Any one or two of them is just not enough for me. I'm finally (over the past few weeks) starting to get all three back in place and I feel REALLY good! |
