Nice evening run with my daughter. Farthest she has ever run and she didn't complain at all (she usually does). It was COLD, but we were able to be in shorts, hats and gloves.

Congrats on getting your daughter to run. I'm still trying to inspire my kids!

Very fun! 5 miles is a good distance for a young person. I bet it was the highlight of your day.

Thanks Missee and Rhett. It really is a joy to run with her. She is 13 and just finished her first year of cross country in middle school. I haven't had to do much to prod her into running, she came to it on her own mostly by watching me get a lot of enjoyment out of it. The longer I work at this parenting thing the more I realize that most things we want our kids to do tend to work better that way.

Mack, I hope your having a great Thanksgiving weekend. Have you been able to sneak in any running?
