My back is healed! I think...

Today I walked on the treadmill for 30 min with alternating  4 min walk and then 1 min run throughout. A total of 6 min of running!!!! I did my back stretches before and after and NO BACK PAIN!!!!!

I am so excited. I had to start somewhere and I can only go up from here. I'm a long way away from a sub 2 half marathon, but I'm moving in the right direction.

Mack, I'm so glad you are able to run (AND BLOG)again and that your back pain is gone. Build slowly so you don't have any set backs.

Thanks Rhett. That's going to be the hardest thing...coming back slowly. I have really missed the endorphins. I'll have to remember to get them primarily through cross training while I ease into the running.
