Cross Training today at the Aquatic Center. 40 Min Total. Bike 15, Elliptical 10, Rower 15. Also lifted weights: Chest and shoulders and abs. Didn't push myself as hard as Tuesday but still got a good workout. Last night we took the youth to the temple to do baptisms for the dead. The counselor in the Bishopric who did the baptisms is a triathlete and is in great shape...except as I watched him I realized that his arms looked soft and round instead of strong and chiseled. It really drove home to me the need to incorporate weight training into my fitness goals. Not so much because of the way it makes me look but the way it makes me feel. Chiseled and strong feels much better than soft and round. I felt kind of bad having this insight at the temple. You would think I could have had something much more spiritual come to me. Oh well.
