Since I run every other day now, I walked for 43 minutes on the river trail this morning. Then went to the gym and lifted heavy for 35 minutes. Then 36 minutes HIIT on an elliptical. I feel good not running everyday right now. I can see myself adopting this as a new fitness routine. It has made me realize that running everyday makes my body release more cortisol. It's in a more stressed state that way. I feel better overall now. Just my 2 cents. Maybe I will discontinue logging this running blog too. I wouldn't see the need. I am losing motivation and drive to want to run everyday. :/ |
