7 miles on River trail uno and dos. Beautiful. I run more slowly now. If I try to pick up too much speed, my right leg creaks and then I feel weakness in the calf. What is to become of my running? Sad and a little scary.

Lily, I know what you mean. I have been having problems with my left calf and Achilles for some time now and it really keeps me from going any faster. Don't give up.

Sorry for you too, Dale. I won't give up. I say positive things everyday in my mind. I need to push back even harder against negative ones I guess.

It's definitely hard to push out the negative thoughts.

Sunday funday runs are the best. :) Hang in there Lily! Just being able to run is a blessing and I definitely agree with Becca.

Going slow can have its perks, gives you more time to take in all the beautiful scenery along the trail. Thats what I tell myself anyways. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your pains! I love your drive. Another positive thought: it is a beautiful time of year to not worry about pace and just get out there and enjoy the amazing weather! :)
