My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

Got the first week of the new training program done. Of course, now I realize I have been posting the last week of workouts on the wrong dates. Cie la vie, no?

A quick cold jog around the park as the sun was setting. Tried to pick up the pace since it was just 2.00 miles. We'll see how much the legs complain tomorrow.

Another short jog through Elmer Thomas park. Thankfully the temperatures were a bit higher and the wind a bit slower than yesterday. Kept an ambitious pace for 1.5 miles and then drifted slower as I neared the end of the workout.

I got through today's 3.00 mile jog as dictated by the running schedule. Still trying to keep my default pace a little peppy. Temperatures near 70*F made it seem like spring. Next run is not slated to happen until next year.
