Short-Term Running Goals: Build up to a 30 mpw routine.
Long-Term Running Goals: Establish and maintain a program of cardiovascular fitness. Participate in one of the Ragnar Relays. Manage to place within the top 3 in my age group in a race. Any race.
Personal: My wife, Teresa, has stayed by my side for over 21 years and I am a much better person as a result. Kristoffer, our only child, is now 15 and continues to exceed all my expectations. If you look in the dictionary under the word luck you will see my smiling face.

Not much to post about but I got back onto the streets for the first time in over a month. Legs complained the entire way. We'll see how they feel tomorrow morning!

| | With temperatures in the upper 70s I couldn't resist getting out on the paths at the park though I had suffered some food-related illness early Sunday morning. Thanks to a pair of rest breaks brought on by short visits with friends who also happened to be in the park enjoying the weather, I was able to accumulate 3 whole miles! |

| | Nice slow jog through the park this evening though it was a bit cooler than yesterday. Glad to have the tights and long sleeves as the wind was really gusting from the north.
Woo hoo. 5 miles in the last two days. Time for a day of rest tomorrow. Can't be accumulating the miles too fast at this point.

A quick cold jog around the park as the sun was setting. Tried to pick up the pace since it was just 2.00 miles. We'll see how much the legs complain tomorrow.

| | Another short jog through Elmer Thomas park. Thankfully the temperatures were a bit higher and the wind a bit slower than yesterday. Kept an ambitious pace for 1.5 miles and then drifted slower as I neared the end of the workout. |
