I had an odd run today. A lot of little issues made it hard to determine whether it was a good run or not. I want to run it slower than last week. I have felt like I am pushing my long runs a little too hard. I wanted to run most of the miles around 9:15-9:30
issues:
1) Set the wrong alarm so I got up late... could only run 3.3 miles before the group started rather than 4.
2) On the way to the group run I passed an old man stopped in the middle of the road I couldn't tell if he was passed out or just looking down, I was late so I just went by. During the whole run I wondered if he was in trouble and I should have stopped!
3) While waiting with the group I accidentally pushed the lap button on my watch so the splits will be off.
4)Ran the last two miles with at runner from our group, she seemed to be really struggling and I could just pass her so those miles were really slow.
Anyway with that in mind here are the splits.
Splits: 8:44, 4:13?, 8:24, 6:57?, 8:38, 8:46, 8:49, 8:55, 8:58, 9:39, 10,58
Like I said it is hard to evaluate I think I ran the first part too fast but it is hard to tell because I ran the last part so slow that I feel really good now. |
