I think I went 5 miles today, my garmin kept wigging out!  I has me running a 6:23 mile and we all know that is not right.  The average for the run was 8:37 which sounds about right though.  I had to run in the city.  I was weaving in and out of business men, bikers and mopeds.  It definitely kept me on my toes!

Walked all over Tokyo...my legs are starting to feel all this walking.  I may take tomorrow off.

Congratulations on the 6:23 mile! You ran 5 miles before I even picked the sleep out of my eyes! ;)

Did you see other runners out in the city?

Sounds like it is an amazing experience. Were you leery about running outside at all or does it seem safe?

Fly - Not very many runner on this side of the town. When I go to the Imperial Palace I see a ton of them. I was the only runner yesterday.

Andy - I made James walk behind me to keep me safe. I never really even saw him so I think I will go solo next time I run. It was mainly interval training... run really fast to the next light then wait at the light...run fast to the light wait at the light...

Your Garmin was programmed to run on the opposite side of the planet--that's why it's wigging out.

Sounds like an awesome run in a foreign land!

And my statement about the Garmin is completely made up. I have no idea.
