Seeking a better country...

Typical 10k, with Gabriel.  He sat like a lunk.  He played with a headlamp.  He zoned out staring at it in blinking mode.  I took it away and gave him a lego and tennis ball.  He never moved.

Mellow, Mellow little boy

Sit and clutch your baby toy.

Do not make a move at all

Rest in peace you will not fall.

I can't believe that child.  He is so sweet. 

On a separate note, it was a noticably warm night for early May.  I had him in feet pjs, and I think it was too hot for him.

It was such a perfect night when I got home around 9, I had to go out and enjoy it.  Gabriel had a late nap, so we got him bundled up against the 59 degrees.  @kfill5  As I pumped up the tire in the driveway, a few spittles of rain started, but in the diminishing twilight, the clouds looked diffuse, so off we went.  10 minutes later it was raining steadily.  When we turned around to head home, the wind and rain intensified. 

All the while Gabe sat there holding a ping pong ball, a plastic spoon and sucking a binky.  He never moved, or complained.  When it really started coming down, he fussed a bit, and let me put the blanket over his face for the last mile.
