| This morning we did 3 miles to Hidden Valley. In the afternoon we did a .5 mile warm up plus 8 miles with 4x200m finishes on the track afterwards. Pretty toasty this afternoon.

| 3 in the morning to the bridge. 8.5 total (2.5 mile warm up, 5x1 mile repeats w/2:00 recovery, 1 mile cool down) in the afternoon. Had some nice cloud cover for the workout today which was very much appreciated. Legs were pretty tired today but I still felt like it was a really good workout. Picked it up on the last one and I felt pretty good and finished strong. Solid workout today.

| Rainy 3 in the morning to The Spectrum. .5 mile warm up plus 6 easy in the afternoon. Pretty sore from yesterday so hopefully I can loosen up for Saturday.

| 3 in the morning to Hidden Valley. In the afternoon we went to Little Valley Park for our workout (2 mile warm up, 8x400m repeats on grass w/equal recovery, 2 mile cool down). We did our 400s at 5k pace so it wasn't anything too fast, just an easy workout to get ready for Saturday.

| Today was the BYU Autumn Classic. The 5k race was three loops around the BYU track/warm up field/softball field. The course was a little muddy in some spots but other than that I thought it was an awesome course. Our team was third place behind Davis and Lone Peak, which was a pretty big accomplishment for us and a major confidence booster. I felt like I raced pretty well but I know that I can do a lot better and I can still keep improving. No race next week so it should be a good week of some tough workouts.
