Today was our first official team practice. In the morning we did an easy 3 miles. For our afternoon run we did 7 miles total (2.5 mile warm up, 4x3:00 hard w/ 3:00 recovery, cool down to get mileage). It was a scorcher for the first 3, but we got a little cloud cover on our last one. It wasn't too bad for our first hard afternoon workout.

3 miles easy in the morning. 8 in the afternoon. Probably the hottest it has been so far this season. Really proud of myself and our team for accomplishing this very hot afternoon run.

3 easy miles this morning. In the afternoon we did 6.5 miles total (1.75 warm up to Webb Hill, 7x1:00, 3x:30, cool down back to the high school). After that we took an ice bath, which felt great after running in the heat.
