Grew up in St. George, UT where I ran at Desert Hills High School from 2012-2015. I spent the next 2 years in Rancagua, Chile as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I currently run track/xc for Utah Valley University.

2 mile warm up then a fartlek workout, 10x1:00 hard w/equal recovery. Cooled down to get to 7. After that I went and ran with the McPhies and Dallin to get our afternoon run done, 3 miles easy. I felt pretty good for the whole run. We saw a dog eating a bunch of ramen noodles all over the road so that was pretty interesting. They must've fallen out of the back of someone's car or something. However it happened, there's a college student somewhere in St. George that is starving because of it.

8 total today. I was supposed to split it into a morning and afternoon run, but I had to do it all in the morning because I'm going to be busy this afternoon. I went up on the ridge and looped around. It was really nice this morning. Did a little plyombata after and cornstretched to finish it off.

Met up with the team for another fartlek run this morning. 2 mile warm up before the pyramid workout, 1,2,3,4,4,3,2,1 hard w/ equal recovery. The two 4s and the last 3 were probably the hardest out of the whole workout. It was a good push for me today. After the run I did about 6 hours of homework, and I'm not even halfway done. Flippin' teachers, it's spring BREAK.

UVU was passing through on their way to California today so I ran with Darian and some of the other girls on her team. They're pretty boring, they don't talk very much.

Met up at the high school for our workout this morning. .5 on the track then we ran out 3.5 on River Road towards the Arizona strip and did our workout on the way back. 10x:30 pick ups on the way back w/equal recovery. Nothing too hard, just a quick workout to get some turnover in the legs. I felt good and focused on relaxing and running smooth while still pushing and going fast. 2 mile cool down back to the school and then another 3 miles to get in the total mileage for the day.

6 miles before work this morning. Suprisingly warm with how cool it's been these past few mornings. Good run to finish off the week, it's been a good break and now I'm ready to get geared up for the meet next weekend.
