Did the workout in the morning instead of the afternoon. We did 8 miles total (2 mile warm up, 5x1 mile repeats, 1 mile cool down) at the park. The first mile was the only one that I didn't hit my time on, we were a little off but it was the first one so we were still warming up a bit. Other than that I feel like it was a very successful workout for me today. It was nice to have to cooler temp for the morning too. .5 mile warm up then 3 miles easy in the afternoon. I was pretty sore and my legs were aching on this run from this morning's workout, so I'll have to take it pretty easy tomorrow and I'll be ready to rock it on Saturday. |
