AM: 3 easy.  Woke up Late, only had time for a little jog.

 PM: 5.  Ran to my little bro's baseball practice.  so hotttt! I loved it.

 most importantly though..... 1 MORE MONTH TILL I GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :)

 I'm just a little excited.

SO SO busy though.  Sheesh.

Tuesday Speed Day!

 WU: 1.5 miles

3 sets of 800,400,200,200 with equal rest.

the 800's were suppose to be at 5k pace, 400's at 3k pace, and 200's at mile pace.  I went 2:50 for the 800s, 80's for the 400's and 37's for the 200's.

 After the workout was over I had a ton left... definitely should have pushed it a little more.  I enjoyed myself way too much haha.  I still got in a work out though, and getting ready to race a 5k at the BYU meet this weekend!

 It was stormy all day today.  Luckily for my run it cleared up a little and was actually pretty enjoyable weather.  The last mile of my run consisted of increasing thunder and lighting. Then right once I walked in the door after stretching, BOOM.  Started pouring outside!  Nice timing eh?

Did a little pre-meet run today.  I forced myself to go nice and easy.  Afterwards I did 4 strides and stretched for a long time!  Felt sooooo good.

BYU Robinson Invite 5k.

 

The weather was terrible all day.  It was suppose to be a two day meet, but because of the weather they moved all the events to Saturday.  Oh wait, except for the 5k.  Just my luck!  I am not a cold weather girl...at all.  I was not very excited.  Although I will give the weather props.  The rain and wind died down for the race.  It was just cold! 48 degrees I think.  

The race went OK.  The first place girl took the lead from the gun and started going way fast. I got stuck in no mans land the whole race.  I was about 100 meters behind the first and about 100 meters ahead of the field.... I was cold, and really, I didn't have the motivation to kill myself.  It just didin't feel like a race.  Makes me mad.  I ran 18:48@  Felt more like a tempo run than a race.  I guess it gives me a little confidence that I can potentially run a LOT faster.  It was a good workout none-the-less! :)
