I drove down Friday with Angela, Michelle N., Cheris, Michelle M., Kris and Dean.  We stayed at a cabin in New Harmony.  Cheris made us a yummy spaghetti dinner with salad and fruit.  Saturday morning we got a little lost trying to find Snow Canyon high school.  We finally found it and got on the second to last bus to the start.  The weather was perfect.  The course has a lot of down and up hills.  My mile splits were:

1. 6:50

2. 6:56 (The first 2 miles are very downhill)

3. 7:37

4. 8:16

5. 8:09 (miles 4 and 5 are mostly uphill on a gravel road)

6. 7:34

7. 8:17

8: 7:37

9: 7:50

10: 7:40

11: 7:50

12: 7:56

13: 7:57

Average pace 7:41

This was a very fun trip.  I'm so glad I went.  It's nice to have one of my two runner's series races done.

Great job! If the course is the same as last year (sounds like it is), it's a hard course and you had a great time. It sounded like a fun trip, wish I could have been there with all of you.

Great job Julie! You did so great. I'm excited for Painters. We'll definately have to leave right after the race so we can get you home for your anniversary:)

Awesome race! You were so good at the end to just tackle those hills and keep up an amazing pace! You rock!
