I met the group at the SJ soccer fields for our 3 5k's workout.  The first one was kind of a fast warm up with Michelle N.  Average pace 8:17.  The second I ran mostly with Walter at nearly my recent 5k pace.  Which was probably his easy easy pace.  Average pace 7:35.  For the last one I ran with Michelle until I took a pit stop.  So I ran the last 2 miles by myself.  Then a few of us ran one more mile to cool down.  Average for the last 4 miles 8:32.  It was fun to have lots of new runners join us today.

I am enjoying seeing all of your hard work. I do think that you could get some downhill training benefit from an occasional decline run on the treadmill, if you can stand it.

I have been hunting for your Blog since Thursday! Anyway, great run that day and it was really nice to meet you! Two more weeks until we become official mothers of HS children. That scares me!!!

Your PR's over there to the left are GREAT!!!

Kelli, It was nice to meet you. I hope you can come again. The thought of having a kid in HS scares me too. I think I am most nervous for her to drive. She is taking the test to get her permit next week. And the thought of her dating in few months....

Paul(Riverton) is in the same boat as us. He has a son their age. Maybe his son can be a spy for us.

A spy---good idea!

We were headed off to go get the permit as well (she has been studying the last month for it) and realized we can not find her birth certificate anywhere. So, I have to order a new one and wait for it to come first! Darn.

Does it not scare you to death how they do Driver Ed now? We have to teach them to drive first? Makes no sense. That will for sure be my husband's job. My daughter is 4'11 (and a half)" and we have a suburban. Look out Riverton and Herriman!
