Down in St. George for the weekend and on my own for a Saturday run. I decided to do another speed workout instead of 13 miles. Not sure if that was the smart choice but I had a good run. I warmed up for 3 miles and then did 2 fast miles, 1 mile recovery and then 2 more fast miles and then a 2 mile cool down. mile 1: 8:01 - oops missed this one mile 2: 7:48 - better recovery mile: 8:26 - recovery, also stopped to give somebody directions. mile 1: 7:58 - should have been faster because there was some slight downhill mile 2: 7:33 - much better Glad it was done and probably could have added another set at that pace. Ave pace 8:23 - same as my painters pace 3 weeks ago. Improvement is coming. Happy Running!
