Only a 1/2 bike commute today... apparently someone else cut the lock and did the other half for me.

Whaaaa? Sorry, that sucks! I always assumed Utah was crime-free. Who goes to a cancer center with a big lock cutter looking for bikes to steal...

Wow, that really sucks. Sorry Jake.

Joe - I actually work for the liver transplant program now... BUT, your statement still holds, because the bike rack is right in front of the cancer building.
It was probably the same people who did this:

The bike wasn't worth a ton, it's more just annoying because I've finally started to enjoy bike commuting in lieu of run commuting every day. Now I'll just have to ride Andrea's bike (which fortunately is not pink).

Yep, stealing a bike made for someone that is 7'6" is even more ridiculous.
You probably wouldn't even have to lock your bike here, unless it had nice "rims" or was somehow loaded down with breakfast tacos. Anything that requires exercise to operate is in low demand in SA.

I'm guessing this would be too organic for SA?

Vegetarian businesses have no chance here. Unless chorizo is a vegetable.

Chorizo contains herbs and spices, which come from plants. Therefore it must be vegetable. That logic got pizza and french fries included in that food group, so it must be perfectly sound.
