AM - 8 miles.

PM - 6 miles.

Took the mountain bicycles up to Park City for a spin on the mid-mountain trail. Rode from Deer Valley to the Canyons and then looped back for a picnic at Silver Lake Lodge. About 3 hours of riding. Stopped for ice cream with a couple miles to go. The early miles of the trail are great, but we forgot how the section between the border of PCMR and the Canyons is way too rocky and somewhat unpleasant... I actually completely flipped over the front of my handlebars yet somehow didn't do any damage other than a cut on my leg. Still trying to figure out how I pulled that off.

Nice pics! What a scenic place! Glad you're okay.

Looks like the conditions were nice up there for you. I love that it is always 10+ degrees cooler in Park City than in the valley.

Cool looking place. Is it too much to hope for that Andrea had the film rolling during your flip?

i hope andrea didn't have to bust out hydraulic rescue tools to get you untangled from your bike.

Unfortunately, we don't have a GoPro! I'd love to see the crash. Andrea was behind me and said she was expecting me to be hurt.

Luckily 70% of bicycling is coasting (the other 20% is a combo of sore shoulders and forearms from all the vibrating, and the other 10% is eating meat tainted with Clenbuterol), so I was able to make it out of there OK.

The bike seat is the toughest part. I always feel it an hour later. Almost feel violated...
