AM - 23 miles. Long Run. Started at HHS w/ Fritz, Nate, James, Josh, Collin, and Rob. Did a nice wandering Holladay loop for the first 15 miles. At that point we switched gears and I paced Josh for his two mile fast finish (5:39, 5:39), back to normal pace for a few minutes w/ Josh and Fritz, and then did 3 faster miles heading back towards home (5:14, 5:19, 5:18). Finished up w/ a couple miles around the neighborhood because it was so freaking nice out!!!

I'm trying to live in the 85-95 mpw range this winter, and since this run puts me at 93 for the week, tomorrow is a mandatory day off. Hopefully the 10-20" of snow forecasted comes through and we get a big powder day!

By my math you just finished a 105 mile week not 93.

14+15+14+13+14+23 = 93

"I"m keeping it under 90 a week for the winter." - Jake on Sunday. :)

You started the week with 12 miles last Sunday. Sunday is the first day of the week. Saturday is the last. You ran 105 miles, admit it.

Lay off, he's Pastafarian, they go to church on Monday

:)

Sunday is not the first day of the week. Its the latter half of the weekEND.

Not that weekly miles are the be all, end all... but I've always found that it makes a lot more sense to keep track Monday-Sunday, because I'm almost always going to do my long run on the weekend, but its 50/50 whether it will be Saturday or Sunday. If you always take Sundays off, then it makes sense to start the week with a zero.

Nice and easy 23 miler. What a perfect morning. Thanks for the pacing help. That was the most fun I've had with shorts on.

From Jake K on Sat, Jan 11, 2014 at 13:27:37 from 67.177.11.154

How does it rank against short-less activities? Top 100? 200?

From Rob Murphy on Sat, Jan 11, 2014 at 13:28:20 from 24.10.249.34

OK, in the last seven days (some people call that a week), you have run 105 miles.

Nice run today btw.

OK I'll give you that, Mr. AP Calculus

So you have definitely earned that ski day tomorrow.
