| Nice morning in Indiana. Good to be back home. I felt good today but started off real easy to get loosened up. I started picking up the pace as I went along and ran the last two around MP which I am estimating around 7:30. It was nice to get the legs moving a little faster. 40:25 (8:05 avg) |

| Washington, DC: Had a lot of meetings today but was able to squeeze in a few miles before a dinner meeting. It was extremely hot in the fitness center so was glad I didn't have to stay in there much longer. |

| It was a nice morning for running today. Temp around 50 with some light wind. I felt pretty good this morning but still started off easy to get loose. After a few miles I picked it up to what felt like MP. I didn't time any of the miles just wanted to run based on feel. I am going to try to start working in some faster stuff to get the legs moving again over the next few weeks. I would like to start racing again in about 4 weeks with a 5k or 10k. 40:18 (8:03 avg) |

| Philadelphia, PA: Quick trip to Philly and just planned to run on the hotel TM today but they were busy and I didn't have time to wait. I went outside and it was around 40 and very windy and just had shorts and short sleeves so it was pretty cold. Not a great place to run but found a loop close by that was around a mile. I felt pretty good and ran at a faster pace since I was cold and trying to generate some heat. Had to get to meets so could only get in 5. 40:17 (8:03 avg) |

| A little cool this morning (35) and windy. I felt good this morning but still started out slow to warm up. I wanted to do a progression run today. Just increase the pace each mile over the last three miles. The goal was to do 7:30, 7:15 and 7:00 for the last three. Started picking it up just before the start of the 3rd mile and hit the target pretty good. I ran 7:29, 7:13 and 6:53. Running times like these lets me know I still have a long way to go to get back. Wasn't long ago I was running faster than this for MP. Anyway, it was nice to pick it up some and hopefully will start to come easier and faster. 38:05 (7:37 avg) |
