Swimming.  Down and back 66 times in about 36:30.  Will swim some more tonight and lift.

I'm done blogging for this week because I won't be running again until the marathon on Saturday.  It just gets me frustrated to record no running miles.  I will swim and lift the rest of this week and hopefully my achilles will be fine for the marathon.

Not sure what the marathon has in store for me.  I'm pretty sure I would have come close to my BQ mark had I not started having the problems with my leg.  Obviously the miles have dropped a lot over the last few weeks.  We'll see how it goes.

Jeff,

I am sorry to hear that things aren't going as planned. Sounds like you still have a good attitude about the race this Saturday. Think positive, you have put a lot of good miles in during your training. Be CAREFUL. I know that you want the BQ, but it's not worth hurting yourself over it. You have a lot more marathons you can try for this goal.

Best of luck and RELAX this week.

Thanks Bec. Sounds like I am probably a lot better off than you. Hope things go well at the Doc. for you and you can get healthy. Isn't this frustrating?

Jeff,

Yes it is frustrating. We pay a lot for this sport physically. I always wonder if I will still be running by the time I am 40. Kind of scary. Take care. Have a great Ogden!
