Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in  2025.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Slept in a bit and watched a movie with Kami before going out for a run (staying home from church due to sickness in our house).  5 miles slow with Moxie along Sunnyside. 

At home ate and did stretching/rehab exercises then we went to Community Park and did some laps, Justin and I ran 4 miles.  Nice time to connect and chat.  (Mirage Red 2015)

4:30am...4 slow miles with Moxie on a warm but windy morning...all I could muster this morning.  Hammy feeling better, piriformis is sore.  I am feeling better but my running is worse.  Still in a recovery/standby mode trying to figure things out. (Ride 3 2015)

I did not feel well when I initially woke up (considered staying home from work), but after getting up and having coffee, I felt a bit better.  Took Moxie out for a 5 mile easy run and felt a lot better afterwards (headache, glutes, etc.).  Nice invigorating run...since it was not at 4:30am!  (Ride 3 2015)

6:30am...slept in, first time I have slept 8+ hours in a long time.  5 easy miles with Moxie before taking the kids to school, 5 miles walking with Kami at Community Park then PT.

After PT, we went to lunch and then walked 5 miles again to just chat and enjoy the nice weather! 

4 miles after school with Justin then 2 miles with Katelyn.  I am tired and hungry! (Mirage Red 2015)

5:30am...very warm out this morning but some good wind and some rain as well.  I met Andrea for a few miles before meeting Jeremy and Rex.  Ran a total of 12 miles this morning nice and easy just catching up with friends.  The last half was tougher with the wind and rain but a good run.  Afterwards some stretching, foam roller and rehab exercises.  (Ride 3 2015)
