AM: 12.3 miles, averaged 9:10.

The roofers were making an incredible amount of noise, so I ended up going to campus when I usually work at home on Tuesday. The poor cats are a bit unsettled.

Came down with a mild cold, seemingly in the middle of teaching yesterday. Hoping it is not going to turn into a head cold. I had a workout scheduled, but I just jogged the rough equivalent of the mileage, which is probably too much but I need to run.

PM: 4.5 miles w/ Megan on campus, averaged 10:10.

I worked her a bit on the hills. Made a last minute decision to go out for burgers. It was the right choice.

I think if I kept everything fairly easy and did no faster workouts 120-130 mile weeks would be doable :-) I think I my highest week every was either 113 or 115.

Just trying to notch some miles for the 50k in 5-6 weeks, which I am basically using as a rebuilding buildup and looking to April for a fast 50k+ race (I think it is 33.5 miles, flat, and point-to-point)

How are you? Has false fall hit there?

From Tom K on Tue, Oct 15, 2019 at 19:42:43 from 47.205.80.40

Ha! No false fall. But we did have 2 days with lower humidity and a dew point below 70. The difference was shocking! Like, wait, I'm usually soaking wet by now. What in the wide world of sports is going on here?
