AM: North side - 7 miles, averaged 8:20. Legs are tired, but not sore. Not bad for being on a plane last night and sleeping for 3 hours at a rest stop in my car.

PM: North side - 5 miles, averaged 8:09. Some non-localized, symmetrical soreness creeped in, but to be expected. More of the same all week I think. Easy doubles with paced determined by feel. Saturday's race will be a long AT tempo as I had already planned. Maybe closer to McMillian "steady state," but that's to be determined.

Report for Philadelphia Rock and Roll is up. I need to re-figure out the buttons for linking. My HTML experience is from the days of AngelFire and spinning GIFs.

Get some sleep! (Don't forget to add your 5 miles)

Yes, I need some rest. Didn't sleep too much the nights before the race, but I slept quite well the night before. I did managed to take a Sasha-approved nap for about an hour an a half, which was helpful but I've never been one to function on little sleep.

Thanks for pointing out I missed my miles! The stupid keyboard batteries were dying and when that happens sometimes it starts deleting things. Not good, not good.

Smart move Jason. Give yourself a relatively low intensity week. You nailed it in Philly, nothing to prove this week! A hard half marathon can actually be a training stimulus provided you fully recover from it.

Morning off tomorrow for sleep. All easy runs this week, feeling things out. I do think I can fitness roll this one.

Nothing faster than M[ish]P until a week from this Wednesday, and probably not until my 10k a week from this Saturday. So really two weeks of easy mileage with some higher end aerobic stuff sprinkled in.
