| PM: 9.2 miles in 67:30 on the treadmill. Had enough of the rain unloading trucks with the hi-lo today, so I went to the gym with Megan. Started a workout but pulled it. I'll try again Saturday and likely double tomorrow. Felt good once I just ran moderately. The treadmill is always so hit or miss for me. |

Got some decent miles in today. I need to do this more on days off if I want to run the mileage I think I need to run.

Warmed up a few miles with Megan and started the workout. I started a bit too slow, but I tried to go from 9:30-10:00 pace down to 6:30, which is always hard. Called that a mulligan mile (6:56) and continued into the 8-mile tempo from there. Felt pretty strong. A bit tired at the end, but effort was normal for this workout (I've done it enough times). A solid week and pleased.
I am pretty sure I am running the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon rather than Detroit this fall. |

| PM: 10 miles slow. HR 130. First few miles with Megan, then continued on my own at the pace we set. Exhausted. No nap two days in a row! Worked from 5-4 today. I was going to go in early tomorrow but waking up at 4:00AM is just plain too early already. Of course I am not in bed early now. Kind of a bust the last two weeks, but I got my long run in this week. I should be back on track the rest of the week and into next week, with workouts starting back up now that my cold is mostly gone. |
