Ran the 70 min Saturday run this morning on a pretty trail in Ephraim! El and I ran with this girl named Kennedy from Union high, it was fun to get to know her! She was the one that always battled with Meskerem at races. Had a steady uphill at 50 for like 15 min so that was hard. Also did our 1,1,2,1,2 pick-ups cause we were planning on doing the long run but cut it to 70 later. They went great and felt solid! Feeling good despite my heel hurting. 70 min//8.32 mi

Ran the hilly run today up the hill from yesterday. My heel was hurting a lot yesterday and this morning so I took it easier and only did 40 out of the 50 min. Honestly felt relieved when we finished, drank a lot of water this day to hopefully help! 40 min//4.5 mi

Had one run on the right day! Haha tempo with El and this guy named Jarom, from Enterprise! Did 15 min warm then started. It was hard to start on pace, the altitude was hard to breathe in but after 5 min we got to 7:20 pace for 5 min. The next 10 went well hitting 7:10 pace. And the last 8 finishing strong from 6:40-7:00 pace! It felt awesome and I'm glad El was there to push each other. Cooled 17 min. My heel feels almost all better! 60 min//7.2 mi

Ps- the sunrises here are gorgeous!

Sleep deprived so El and I slept in and ran late when we got home. Ran to Sullivan Park, on the trail and back. Ellie did some legit dance moves while trying to dodge a lizard, lol that was hilarious. Turned before the twin churches to run through neighborhoods instead tho and may or may not have left Colten a note of rocks haha. 60 min//7 mi

Long run this morning!! 9 and a half hours later, haha, we Started a little further down than the start of the Dogtown half and ran along that route. Ran with El, Scotty, and their dad for a little. Then it was just El and I behind as we ran through the Sullivan trail, a dirt road by her house, then home! Tired but I still felt well enough to finish the run. Fast finish, and crashed at home haha. Heel's better, now gonna get back to eating healthy, hydrating, and getting good sleep! 90 min//11.05 mi

Can't wait to be with the team next week!! All these camps are just about over just girls camp to go now!
