Awesome workout on the dirt mile! Did 25 total tempo with the pace around 7:15-30. Good pack but still missing a few of the girls. The rain felt really good too and saw some pretty dope lightning strikes. 65 minutes total. Also I officially became a member of the Fab 5 today- #2 :) Irene passed it down to me from Kaelie Gillespie who got from Frida!

Did a hilly run in Payson with my sister- we ran the first 30 sort of together then she stopped and I ran 20 more doing a loop towards the beautiful Payson temple!! Felt great my average pace was 8:25

Ran at Bear Lake cause of a family reunion. We stayed at a cabin at the top of this huge hill!! Which means I got to run down it then back up..it was soo hard!! I flipped a little early to go back up and finished at 45 min.

Yay!! Today was officially the longest run I have ever ran! (Which isn't that much but still..) it was super fun and the whole varsity group was there finally together at last!! We ran to green springs and looped to hearts then down in the neighborhoods by the elementary then around to the Rec Center! Our 5 pick-ups went great too, 85 min total

Ran 15 on road, then 15 on the grass with striders after (40 min/5.2 miles). Ran with my little sister for her race and she did amazing!! She is gonna pass me up in no time haha. Weights in the afternoon with a short run of 15 min/1.6 miles which was super super hotttt

Met up at Heritage park and ran on little rolarcoasters to start, but took a new route to the road which led us to a really fun trail on the golf course! We were running up this big hill and Josie was like "I never want this to end!!" haha it made me laugh cause she is so enthusiastic about hills which is awesome! Finished with 6 striders on very soft and wet grass, 60 min total

So happy 4th!! We met up at Josie and Ellie's house and ran on the river trail. It got really muggy but it still felt great with all the tree's shade and all :) on the way back we took a pit stop and cooled off our legs in the river then finished with a little loop in the neighborhood. Long FUN run! We ran up the grapevine hill and did a loop around through coral canyon, then down to this shop with the best water in the world then back to the elementary! We had 1,1,2,1,2 minute pickups and the run felt so good! I love long runs because we can run so far! The view were really pretty too :) 90 minutes total. Bad news..I got my wisdom teeth out this day so I won't be able to run again till possibly Friday :((( now I'm just home in bed with the fattest head I've ever had haha

Finally back to running again!! Last week felt like the longest, laziest week ever and I'm so glad the wisdom teeth thing is over and done with! I was going to go back on the minutes cause but as we got going I felt so good! Nothing hurt and so I just kept going. The 1,1,2,1,2 pick-ups went great- we did most of them downhill but the last one was all uphill. We had a huge group and even met up with Caroline and Gracie on the way! Went 82 min total, coach I hope ur not mad that I went over..but it felt really good and it didn't hurt at all! Plus I stretched real good after :)

Wow today's run was a half very good and half very terrible. The first 35 was great with the start of pick-ups and just feeling good! Then I got a side ach for the whole downhill which stunk, I kept trying to breath out more than I breathed in but it didn't work. My form got stiff and I got short of breath and fell off the group because I kinda started hyper ventilating :( Ellie came back to run with me then the group did, Roberts really helped me, by teaching me to breath in my nose for 4 steps then breath out for 4 more. It helped a lot!! I finished early and took a good long nap when I got home :) but everyone else did AMAZING today and we really had a great group!!! Thanks to everyone that put up with me today haha. 70 min total

First time trial for pvxc 2016!! Had almost everyone in the pack for the first lap then spread a little more in the second. It was me and Josie and Caroline with ellie close on the last 800, then Josie and Caroline kicked really good on the 400 mark so I was behind. Ellie caught me and pushed me a lot more than I could've myself! Finished with 13:08, overall I think our team did great working as a pack. 55 min total

Ran at a family reunion in a really cool place called Camelot in Provo Canyon. I ran alone most of the time, but a little with Ness then Mike which was a good sibling bond time :) The canyon was gorgeous and it felt perfect, it was a great run. 50 min total

So the night before this morning I was playing glow in the dark ultimate frisbee which was cool! But what wasn't cool was when my older cousin and I colided and my right leg got bruised!! I didn't think it was a big deal but when I woke up to run the next day it was hard to walk, and it killed when I tried to run on it. So I took this day off for it to heal

Wow so Jenessa and I went to the elementary not thinking at all to check the blog, then realized no one was there, so went to the high school to see but no one there also :/ so we went home and found out the run was at bloomington hills!! Ahh it was too late to go so Ness and I did our workout on the river trail. Man it was so so hard, I did my 4 striders, then the workout. My times were around here; 1200- 5:40, 1600- 7:15, 1200- 5:10, 1600- 7:05. I didn't hit all of them like I should've but I'm glad the times improved at least :) 60 min total, 7 miles

45 E, which is funny cause it wasn't easy at all haha, but I guess nothing's easy at high altitude camp!! It was the kinda run that goes downhill the first half and uphill the second! I tried to stick with Ellie, Josie and Alli uphill but fell off after a bit. I was on my own for a while and really started to struggle. Then Roberts encouraged me and Maycee saved the day! She came up and passed me, so I worked harder back up to her and we ran the rest together. Man it's so much better when you have a running buddy :) she is awesome

25 E run by the Navajo lake! We went on a tricky little trail for a little but most of our run was on the road. Some fun chicken fights in the lake after haha. Maycee and I were champs ;)

90 min long run in the mountains. Really cool trail down the mountain, we got lost for a little haha but found our way back to the right trail which led us to an even cooler trail! It was awesome and had a lot of cute little bridges :) We had most girls for the first 40 min but then they all flipped except for Roberts, Josie, Ellie, and me. For a little it was good, but Ell and I seperated from Roberts and Jos till the new trail started and they let us lead. I led for a little then Ellie did and I was really struggling. My breathing went ragged and soon enough I started to hyperventilate again :( we took a break and I sat on a log to catch my breath. Everyone was so nice to be patient with me while I came back alive and ran again. They let me lead for a long time and the rest of the way was good. I love our team and how much they care about one another!!

25 E with EVERYONE! All the girls were together and it was great

60 min hill run with a little workout. We did 2 sets of 3x80 sec hills and I loved it because it really helped me to work on my sloppy form lately. The first set was good and the second was better! We all finished strong. The run back up I ran with Jos and her dad, and Caroline. Loved Camp, it was super fun and I'm so excited for our team and this season of cross country!

First race! I did very well and at the same time vary bad. Let's start with the good; I ran with Jos and Jes for the first two laps and took turns leading with them and we pushed each other well! The bad; I totally fell off on the third lap and I let like 4 dh girls pass me. I finished 3rd on the team, 9th overall. I didn't finish strong at all, so lesson learned and I'm going to race smarter and stronger next time!! My workouts and runs after this are all ending strong too! The girls did good and s/o to Jos for winning!! She's a beast and Jes for getting up there also! Even though it wasn't a great race for our whole team, I'm sooo excited for the races to come and the hard work that comes with them! 45 min total

Weights and a short 15 min run before school

Drove to Renegade camp in Pine Valley where we set up at Robert's awesome cabin! For our afternoon run we hit the lower end of the minutes because of our run tomorrow. We went down a pretty big hill then flipped to go up! It was kinda hard but that's hills so ya. 45 min total

Also walked to the creepy haunted Brown house, then had one of the best (even though there was a numberless amount of bugs) bonding moments with the team ever where we shared our strengths and weaknesses :)

The BIG run: We ran up Pine Valley mountain!! We did the backward Indian run for almost all the way up and ran most of it haha. We took some breaks either drinking water, eating energy fruit snacks and Gu, taking pics, or picking the delicious raspberries we found! Closer to the top it felt more like a hike as it got steeper and steeper! Ellie and Maycee led this thing were we'd run for 10 steps then get a break to take a breather haha. Then we got to the top and saw the beautiful view that stretched on forever!!

The way down was an adventure. To start we walked till we knew we could start running without falling off the edge haha. I ran with Alli and Maycee for pretty much the whole way down and only stopped twice to pick some more rasberries haha. I also think I got a good amount of more freckles which I didn't think was possible but I was proved wrong! About 3 hrs of a really hard and really fun run!

Did like a 20 min warm-up then had the desert duel! Josie started off for our group and did great pulling in second, then Caroline keeping that place. It felt so good to run fast again, I almost got Laynee but she really out kicked me :/ positive race tho because I pr'd from my last years time! Girls team did amazing and s/o to Seanne for getting 5th, breaking the tie-breaker, so we won as a team! :) 40 min total
