AM - 11 Mall/2xAC. Pretty decent sleep last night which was very nice. Legs had some soreness and fatigue this morning - but not way bad. That is, however, what I had hoped for (a couple of those sore downhill days should ease the pain of the marathon a little). (Free 305.95)
afternoon - 8.5 Town/DI. Jumped in and ran with the boys after taking water out for the team. We ran into town (Ally would laugh at that) to Vernon Worthen and around a bit before heading back where I tied in with a few to finish off with DI. Finished off with 8xbarefoot striders. Only was able to do squats and bench before I had to head home for some swimming with family/friends, so didn't hit all my lifts. It is tough to squeeze everything in now. | | AM - 13 Clyde's Loop2. Solid workout this morning, but I am spent - in the legs and needing sleep. Warmed up for about 3.5 and then got into 2miles, 1 mile, 2miles at LT with a 2 minute recovery. Happy that I was able to push through the workout even though I still have soreness in the legs and they are pretty worn. Also very happy that it is the only hard workout this week. Scared an old lady walking her dog in the dark as I yelled out at myself to get me focused and pushing through to the finish. 1 and 2 were 5:22 and 5:30, next one was 5:26, then went 5:28 and 5:33. Not bad; glad it's over. (Boston 250) |

AM - 12 Mall/2xAC. Was already up with the baby so I headed out just a little earlier than usual and caught an extra mile on my normal morning run. Felt decent, but I want to hit an ice bath today so I need to remember to get ice before leaving school. (Landreth blue 409)
afternoon - 7 Green Springs/Power line. Took water up to GS and then joined the team as they headed up into the desert. Most of the clouds had left by practice and it was pretty warm out. Plyos after to make up for missing Monday, followed by and ice bath. (Stratus grey 557.85)

AM - 11 Mall/2xAC. Same morning run. It was a little cooler after a massive thunder storm last night, but of course that brought some humidity. Legs are plenty tired this week. Only run today with Back-to-School Night - one of my favorites! (Cumulus white 811.9)
weights this afternoon. First time in a couple weeks I could hit a full workout.

AM - 6.25 AC/2450. Rewarded myself with a little extra sleep this morning. Hip has been feeling decent. (Stratus black 682.95)
PV Boys XC has started the year ranked #46 nationally! Cool stuff - now to back it up. afternoon - 9 Albino. Another hot one. Kind of wished I wasn't running, other than it is fun to run with the team. 8xbarefoot striders and plyos. (Barefoot '10 113.25)(Triumph 595.25)

| | AM - 20.15 Run to the Border. Extra early from Clyde's down to the Southern Corridor and around into Sun River and up the trail. I was pretty tired and worn down in every way. Pace was very easy for awhile until we realized we needed to pick it up to get back for the XC meet. Hit a few tempo miles, but then my legs just told me no more and I limped on in. (Landreth blue 429.15) Week was decent. I wanted a few more miles, so I got that done. I wanted to freshen up the legs, didn't get that done. But maybe the weekend will work it out. Goals for next week: A good workout Tuesday and again get those legs fresh. And for a birthday present, beat Mt. View at SUU on Saturday!
