morning - 15 Little Black Mt.  Drove out to Warner Valley entrance and ran out toward Arizona.  I had tried to find a good loop last night, but everything was 20+ and I only wanted 15, so I just made it an out and backer across the state line and out past the pictographs.  Really nice morning, pretty cold out on the desert (only 24 at the start - and got colder for the first hour) but once I turned around it was nice.  Running on the trails and dirt roads out there is great.  (Landreth black 286.35)

Solid week.  Mileage was nothing big, just right where I want it.  It isn't too tought to keep it down, it is just nice!  Hard workouts aren't nearly as quick as I wish I could be, but like I said yesterday, that is just life.

Goals for next week:  Keep feeling solid.  I have come to the conclusion that if I can just keep the ab thing where it's at I will be alright - just no increase in discomfort.  I am going to try a few 1600's on Tuesday so that will be interesting.  Overall mileage right at the same as this week 55-60.

Over 4,000 miles you deserve to end the year with low mileage weeks to gear up for next year. Nice run, it's great to see you set week to week goals to keep you motivated. That's something I need to do.

thanks for the advice. i haven't ran many trails around cedar and i have to admit that i can't even remember the last time i wore a watch when i run. it might have been at the marathon. even the last few months before the marathon i quit running with a watch unless it was some kind of tempo or track work or a long run. i kind of like not having the watch tell me and reinforce how i feel. i am sure i will be back strong in the spring and summer. if my work continues to slow down i may have to train more in my spare time weather permiting.
